LGS Futures: Careers & Higher Education
Introduction
Young people today have more choice about what to do in the future than ever before. At Langley Grammar School, we prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of adult life through a progressive programme of careers-related activities designed to develop the skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to be successful in the world of work in the 21st Century.
Additional information and advice is offered through these website pages and the Careers Library located in the school’s Library. This information is updated routinely throughout the year with a full review annually, which is conducted in the Autumn Term and completed by 20 December each year. As well using the information on these website pages, parents, students and employers are welcome to contact our key staff below for further information about our careers programme.

The school's Careers Leader is Mr David Harding, Deputy Headteacher. He can be contacted through the main school phone number 01753 598300 or via the school email address school@lgs.slough.sch.uk marked for the attention of the Careers Leader.

All students in Years 11-13 are offered a 1:1 guidance interview to help them make decisions about A Level and University courses; alternatives such as vocational courses and apprenticeships, and future career planning. Mr Devani also works with younger students in Years 7-10 to help them explore the world of work and further education.
