A Level
Students studying the subject at A Level follow the OCR (MEI) specification B. Some students also complete a second A Level qualification in Further Mathematics. During the course the following topics are covered.

Students studying A Level Maths study: Core Maths
Statistics Probability, discrete random variables, working with large data sets, bivariate data, binomial distribution, hypothesis testing.
Mechanics Kinematics, forces and Newton's laws of motion, variable acceleration
Further Maths students also study - Complex Numbers, matrices, series, chi-squared tests, Numerical methods

Students studying A Level Maths study: Core Maths Functions, further calculus, trigonometric functions and identities, parametric equations, differential equations, numerical methods.
Statistics Working with data, probability, statistical distributions, statistical hypothesis testing.
