Framework for Exceptional Education
Langley Grammar School is an active member of the The Schools, Students and Teachers network SSAT , and part of its Leading Edge programme.
SSAT is the largest and most active network of schools in the country, helping teachers to empower students to succeed.
The SSAT's Framework for Exceptional Education (FfEE) is a flagship school improvement framework, built on the philosophy that school improvement is an ongoing process centred on self-evaluation and celebration of strengths.
The Framework helps schools to implement strategic, principled decision-making and supports ongoing school development and improvement. There are three strands, each consisting of four focus areas with clear criteria for development.
Schools can apply for accreditation at the highest level in each of the strands, which recognises 'transforming practice'. Accreditation is through application, peer review and a moderation process.
Langley Grammar School is proud to have achieved designation as having 'Transforming Practice' in eleven of the twelve strands, and is actively pursuing accreditation in the final one.
