This page provides information for students who are currently studying in Year 11 at the school and for prospective students from other schools who wish to join our Sixth Form in September 2025.

Applications for Sixth Form admission in September 2025

Applicants from other schools

The online application process for external students is now open and can be accessed by clicking on the following link:

You will need to obtain your predicted grades before applying to ensure you meet our general and subject-specific entry requirements. Further information about subject requirements can be found in the information booklets on our general Sixth Form admissions page.

To complete the whole application you will require:

your predicted grades for your GCSE subjects
referee contact details for your current school
your final choice of 4 A level subjects and 1 reserve subject
your choice of 2 enrichment courses.

Please note that our expectation is that prospective students will be sitting at least nine GCSE qualifications in Year 11.

You will need to enter your predicted GCSE grades at the point of completing an application. These will be checked by requesting a reference from your current school.

For applicants wishing to join from other schools, the deadline for applications is 3pm on Thursday 6th February 2025, with references from your schools to be received by 3pm on Thursday 13th February 2025. Both your application and your school's reference must be received by 3pm on Thursday 13th February 2025 in order for your application to be reviewed.

Applicants from Langley Grammar School Year 11

Students currently in Year 11 at Langley Grammar School will need to complete an application. You will be invited to apply using details and link sent in an 'invitation to apply' email. You will not receive this until late January 2025. Do not apply until you are invited to do so.

Sixth Form Admissions September 2025

OUR SIXTH FORM OPEN EVENING WAS HELD ON THURSDAY 07 NOVEMBER 2024

Current Year 11 students and prospective new joiners visited Langley Grammar School to hear from our outstanding students and staff to discover what separates Langley Grammar from the field in terms of academic success and student personal development.

The event included opportunities for guided tours of our facilities plus live Headteacher’s presentations.
