GCSE grades released
Year 11 students have been celebrating their achievements as the 2021 GCSE outcomes have been released.
Following cancellation of the examinations, this year’s GCSE grades have been awarded through a process of teacher assessment based on evidence of students’ work across their GCSE courses.
The GCSE outcomes for 2021 at Langley Grammar School are broadly in line with our 2020 results, with 78% grades 9-7. We believe the grades awarded are a fair reflection of our students’ ability and dedication, and the hard work of their teachers in supporting them.
More information about this year's GCSE grades and the process of awarding them can be found here.
We are not singling any individuals out for particular praise. This is because all our students deserve congratulations for their hard work and commitment to their studies through what has been a very difficult period for everyone – and with some particularly challenging circumstances for some.
We are very proud of the students and wish them well for the next stage of their education. We look forward to welcoming the great majority of them back into our Sixth Form in September.
Congratulations Year 11!
