Welcome to Langley Grammar School

We are an innovative and forward-thinking school, committed to developing our students into well-rounded, confident and successful young adults.

Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds in Slough and the surrounding area to form a friendly and harmonious community. We provide a supportive and secure environment that enables them to flourish as individuals and achieve excellent academic outcomes.

In December 2022 we were delighted to be listed in the Sunday Times 'Parent Power' guide as one of the top 10 schools in the South-East and in the top 40 schools in the country. 

We have a very dedicated and well-qualified body of staff who are innovative, enthusiastic and committed to our school ethos.  They are dedicated to building our students' academic confidence and to helping them develop the wider skills needed for higher education and the 21st century workplace.  

We are proud of the innovative use of iPads for learning which underpins our status as an Apple Distinguished School. In addition to high-quality teaching, our staff provide an outstanding range of opportunities for personal and physical development beyond the classroom, including an extensive range of sporting, musical and other activities. Our new buildings provided through the Government's Priority Schools Building Programme have given us an excellent learning environment.

After a 14-year gap since our last inspection, a team from Ofsted visited us in November 2021 and judged us to be outstanding in all areas. You can find out more here. 

The school has a long history of involvement with the local community of schools in Slough.  As the Teaching School Hub for Berkshire we are able to have a significant impact on the educational provision in the area.
